Link LoRa

Link LoRa gives you instant access to critical underwater data. Watch detections unfold in real time, track live sensor data, and download complete datasets as they are generated. Deploy multiple nodes equipped with Live receivers and Link LoRa units to cover entire areas, with each node having a transmission range of up to 5 km.

Key Advantages

Real-Time Detections and Tracking

Real-Time Detections and Tracking

See detections and sensor data as charts in real-time. Live fine-scale 3D positioning estimation is also possible due to the built-in GPS ensuring precise timing

Adaptable cable configurations

Adaptable cable configurations

Choose the ideal cable length between the Live receiver and the Link main unit - up to several hundred meters - for reliable operation at significant depths.

Advanced Digital Signal Processing

Advanced Digital Signal Processing

Dynamic signal thresholding and SNR-based detection filtering provide longer range, reduced code collisions, and cleaner data in noisy environments.

Up To 3 Frequencies Simultaneously

Up To 3 Frequencies Simultaneously

Use multiple frequencies at the same time to double or triple the amount of transmitters in the same area without sacrificing data throughput

Long Battery Life

Long Battery Life

Choose between single or dual DD-cell configurations for the Link main unit - delivering up to 5 or 10 months of continuous operation.

Long range

Long range

Each LoRa node has a maximum range of up to 5 km enabling a powerful coverage even accross long distances.

All In One Package

All In One Package

Antenna with GPS, main unit, Live, LoRa gateway, and dashboard is included. All you need is a single data SIM or internet access point for the LoRaWAN gateway

How It Works

1. Live Receiver

The Live receiver picks up acoustic signals emitted by submerged transmitters.

2. Link Main Unit

The detections are relayed from the Live receiver directly to the Link main unit.

3. LoRa Antenna

The LoRa antenna is directly connected to the Link main module and periodically transmits data packets from the Link main unit to the LoRa gateway.

4. LoRa Gateway

The LoRa gateway connects to a local network via Wi-Fi or Ethernet, or to a mobile network using a data SIM card. It forwards data received from the Link LoRa nettwork to an MQTT broker service, enabling direct access to your data.

5. Web Dashboard

In addition to the MQTT broker, we offer a customizable web dashboard that lets you visualize and inspect data from your Link LoRa network in real time.

Rugged Design

Link LoRa is built for the toughest environments, featuring rugged, waterproof casings, cables, and connectors that ensure reliability in any weather. Flexible cable options allow placement of the Live hydrophone up to several hundred meters from the Link LoRa main unit, while a fixed 1 m cable provides an optimal connection to the antenna module.
