Remote Real-Time Tracking
Get live data straight to your desk from your study area using LoRa technology and internet.
Detections and Tracking in Real-Time
By deploying Live receivers in combination with Link LoRa units, researchers can comfortably receive real-time data of tagged animals straight to their desk. The system allows you to collect data with minimal disturbance in your study area and is well-suited for short- and long-term studies.

Key Advantages
Real-Time Tracking
Follow fish and animals as they move live. Link LoRa delivers real-time tracking and instant data access regardless of where you are.
Long Distance Data Transfer
Receive your real-time data at your preffered location.
Adaptable cable configurations
Choose the ideal cable length between the Live receiver and the Link main unit - up to several hundred meters - for reliable operation at significant depths.
How it works

Signal Range in Your Environment
Are you conducting your first telemetry study, or are you planning a project in a new area? We always recommend performing a range test to familiarize yourself with the local environmental conditions and understand how they affect signal strength.

Fish Are Tagged With Transmitters
Fish are tagged with small acoustic transmitters that emit uniquely coded ID signals. Sizes range from 6 to 16 mm in diameter, with optional sensors for depth, temperature, activity or mortality. Each tag is configured for the species and study duration.

Receivers Log Detections
Multiple nodes with Live receivers and Link LoRa units transmit to a single gateway up to 5 km away.

Remote Retrieval and Data Analysis
One SIM card phone subscription or internet access point is enough for your data to tick in directly on your PC. Use the Internet of Fish desktop subscription for visualization of real-time data as well as to download your datasets.

Link LoRa
Link LoRa gives you instant access to critical underwater data. Watch detections unfold in real time, track live sensor data, and download complete datasets as they are generated. Deploy multiple nodes equipped with Live receivers and Link LoRa units to cover entire areas, with each node having a transmission range of up to 5 km.

Configurable 6 - 16 mm Transmitters
Thelma Biotel transmitters are energy-efficient and versatile, designed for studies of aquatic species and underwater equipment. They come in five sizes: 6, 7, 9, 13, and 16 (based on diameter in mm). They can be tailored in length, power output, and battery life to fit your needs. They are used in wildlife tracking, aquaculture monitoring, and equipment monitoring. Whether you need an off-the-shelf solution or a tailor-made design, our transmitters can be configured for your exact requirements.
